No. DEXIS IOS Cloud is a cloud-based platform that can be accessed through a web browser, eliminating the need for local software installations for core cloud functionality. Some integrations with lab design software may require configuration within those systems

What is DEXIS IS Connect and how is it related to DEXIS IOS Cloud?
IS Connect is the DEXIS platform practices use to send intraoral scan cases to their labs. DEXIS IOS Cloud is its cloud-based successor. It does the same job, moving cases from practice to lab, and adds access from any browser, several users per practice or lab, automatic delivery into the lab's design system, and case messaging in the same place as the case.
How do you send intraoral scans to a dental lab?
With DEXIS IOS Cloud, scans are delivered automatically to the lab's design system or their DEXIS IOS Cloud portal, along with the prescription and case details. No email attachments, no manual file downloads, no third-party transfer tools.
Is DEXIS IOS Cloud replacing IS Connect?
Yes. DEXIS IOS Cloud is the cloud version of IS Connect, and it is where new capability is being added.
