Visualizing TMJ Osseous Morphology with OP 3D LX part 2
Dr. Archambault captures new high-resolution scans four months into her patient’s active treatment for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain.
Her patient’s symptoms have dramatically improved since treatment began and now it’s time for Dr. Archambault to take a follow-up scan. She details the settings used to capture the scan on her ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ OP™ 3D™ LX and discusses the valuable insights she was able to get into the active disease of the joint.
You’ll see:
- The detailed treatment plan carried out by Dr. Archambault to address her patient’s TMJ pain.
- The four-month follow up scan that showed radiographic evidence of healing with remineralization of the cortical outline of the condylar head.
- How her TMJ imaging capabilities have significantly advanced since using the OP 3D LX and its small FOV spatial resolution.
